  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 1 cup alfalfa sprouts
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon pepper or to taste

Notes

  • Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. However, the texture may change.
  • Freezing: It’s best not to freeze these sandwiches as the ingredients don’t hold up well once thawed.
  • Pairing: Serve with a light salad or some crispy potato chips for a complete meal. A glass of sparkling water or fresh lemonade complements the flavors beautifully.
  • Herbs: Add fresh herbs like dill or chives for an extra layer of flavor and freshness.
  • Vegetable Variations: You can substitute or add other vegetables like cucumbers or arugula for a different taste and texture.
