Equipment

  • Whisk
  • Slow Cooker
  • Chef's Knife
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Wooden Spoon

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix 115 ounce box
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix 13.4 ounce box
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup chopped peanut butter cups

Instructions

  • Mix brownies according to package directions. Stir in 1 cup peanut butter chips to the batter.
  • In a second bowl, whisk pudding mix and milk until smooth.
  • Spray the bottom of a slow cooker liner with nonstick cooking spray. Pour the brownie mix in, then the pudding mix.
  • Place peanut butter in a small bowl and microwave for 30 seconds, or until just pourable. Drizzle over pudding mix. Sprinkle with chopped peanut butter cups.
  • Cover the liner with paper towels and then place the lid on top. Cook on high for 1-2 hours or until the edges look done. All crockpots cook this recipe at different times, depending on how fast it cooks. It will still be quite wet on top but the brownie part will be done around the edges.

Notes

  • Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat gently in the microwave before serving.
  • Freezing: You can freeze this dessert! Just let it cool completely, then wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and foil. Thaw in the fridge before reheating.
  • Pairing: Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream to enhance the dessert experience.
  • Mix-ins: Feel free to add nuts, chocolate chips, or even caramel swirls to the brownie mix for different flavor profiles.
  • Alternative sweeteners: If you prefer a healthier option, consider using sugar alternatives in the brownie mix.
  • Different nut butters: Experiment with almond or cashew butter instead of peanut butter for a unique twist.
