Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 sliders Kings Hawaiian rolls
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped yellow onion, stirring frequently until the beef is cooked through. Drain any excess grease and return the meat to the pan.
  • Season with salt and pepper, then add the barbecue sauce, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir everything together and let it cook on low for 8 to 10 minutes to mix the flavors.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease an 11"x7" baking pan. Arrange the bottom halves of the Kings Hawaiian rolls in the baking dish.
  • Spoon the sloppy joe meat mixture evenly over the rolls, then top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Place the tops of the slider buns over the cheese. Brush the melted butter over the rolls and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Bake for about 12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
  • Slice into individual sliders and serve hot with a variety of extra toppings.

Notes

  • Storage: Leftover sliders can be stored in the fridge for up to three days. Just reheat before serving.
  • Freezing: These sliders can be frozen unbaked for up to two months. Just assemble and freeze, then bake when ready.
