- 1 cup half and half
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 8 oz medium cheddar cheese, shredded
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the half and half and cornstarch until smooth.
Place the saucepan over medium-high heat, bringing the mixture to a light boil while stirring constantly.
Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 30 seconds, continuing to stir.
Remove the saucepan from heat and immediately stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
