Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup frozen blueberries
  • 3/4 cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 5 to 6 drops liquid stevia
  • 1/4 cup ice
  • 1 scoop unflavored protein powder optional

Instructions

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. It helps to have everything ready before you begin blending. Make sure your blueberries are frozen and your strawberries are fresh.
  • In a blender, add the frozen blueberries. Their frosty texture will help make your smoothie thick and creamy.
  • Next, throw in the sliced fresh strawberries. Their sweet and tart flavor pairs perfectly with peanut butter.
  • Pour in the almond milk. This will help to blend everything smoothly while giving it a wonderful vanilla flavor.
  • Now add the peanut butter. This is where all the richness comes from! Make sure to scoop it out well.
  • If you like it sweet, add the liquid stevia. Start with a few drops and taste it; you can always add more if needed.
  • Next, add the ice. This will make the smoothie cold and refreshing.
  • If you’re using protein powder, add that last. It’s optional, but it makes the smoothie more filling.
  • Blend everything on high until smooth. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides if anything sticks.
  • Once smooth, taste your smoothie. Adjust sweetness if needed, and blend again briefly to mix.
  • Pour your smoothie into a glass, and enjoy immediately!

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one day. Just give it a good shake before drinking!
