Equipment

  • Frying Pan
  • Oven
  • Chef's Knife
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Baking Sheet

Ingredients

  • cup Butter
  • 4 ounces White Baking Chocolate roughly chopped
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 cup Granulated White Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Chopped Macadamia Nuts
  • ½ cup Milk Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). This step is crucial for ensuring your brownies bake evenly. As the oven heats up, prepare your baking pan by spraying a 9-inch square pan with nonstick spray. This will prevent the brownies from sticking when they’re done baking.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and white chocolate together. Stir occasionally until both are completely melted and smooth. Once combined, remove the pan from the heat and let it cool slightly. This will help prevent cooking the eggs in the next step.
  • In a large mixing bowl, crack in the eggs and add the granulated white sugar. Using a whisk, beat the mixture until it’s well combined and slightly frothy. This aeration will help create a lighter texture in the brownies.
  • Pour the cooled chocolate mixture into the mixing bowl with the eggs and sugar. Add the vanilla extract at this stage as well. Gently mix everything together until fully incorporated.
  • Now it's time to add the dry ingredients. Sprinkle in the all-purpose flour and salt to the wet mixture. Use a spatula to fold the dry ingredients into the batter. Be careful not to overmix; you want to stop as soon as everything is just combined.
  • Next, fold in the chopped macadamia nuts and milk chocolate chips. This will give your brownies that delightful crunch and extra sweetness. Make sure they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly with a spatula. Make sure to smooth out the top to ensure even baking.
  • Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Keep an eye on them; they’re done when the top is lightly browned and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Once baked, remove the pan from the oven and allow the brownies to cool in the pan on a wire rack. Letting them cool helps set the texture. After they’ve cooled for about 10 to 15 minutes, you can cut them into bars for serving.
  • Enjoy your homemade Macadamia Chip Brownies warm, or let them cool completely before storing. Either way, they’re bound to be a favorite!
