  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped kalamata olives
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste ground black pepper
  • 1 serving buns or pita bread for serving
  • 1 serving chopped lettuce and tomato for serving
  • 1 serving hummus for serving

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, crumbled feta cheese, chopped kalamata olives, and the dried herbs. Mix until well combined.
  • Season with onion powder, garlic powder, and ground black pepper. Mix together thoroughly.

  • Top with lettuce, tomato, and hummus as desired.

Notes

  • Tip 1: This recipe is naturally gluten-free (as long as your olives and hummus are GF).
  • Tip 2: Be sure to serve without the bun or with a GF bun if you need it to be totally gluten-free.
