Ingredients
- 3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
- 3 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
- 3 cups Wheat Chex™ cereal
- 1 cup bite-size pretzels
- 1 cup garlic-flavor bite-size bagel chips
- 1 cup mixed nuts optional
- 7 tablespoons butter melted
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt or seasoned salt
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 3 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- In a large microwavable bowl, combine the Corn Chex™ cereal, Rice Chex™ cereal, Wheat Chex™ cereal, bite-size pretzels, bagel chips, and optional mixed nuts. Stir gently to mix everything together and set it aside.
- In a small microwavable bowl, add the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and everything bagel seasoning. Stir until all the ingredients are well combined.
- Pour the butter mixture over the cereal mixture in the large bowl, ensuring every piece is coated. Stir carefully until everything is evenly coated.
- Microwave the mixture uncovered on High for 5 to 6 minutes. Make sure to stir every 2 minutes to prevent burning.
- Once done, spread the mix on a large baking sheet to cool. Let it cool for about 15 minutes before digging in.
- Alternatively, preheat the oven to 250 degrees F. Transfer the cereal and seasoning mixture into ungreased roasting pans. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even cooking.
- After baking, allow the Everything Bagel Chex Mix to cool on a large baking sheet for around 15 minutes.
- Once cooled, transfer the mix to an airtight container for storage. Enjoy!
