  • 1 cup full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil

  • First, place a strainer or fine-mesh sieve over a medium bowl. Line it with a clean cheesecloth, allowing for easy drainage.
  • Next, gather your ingredients. Mix together the Greek yogurt and sea salt in a small bowl until well combined.
  • Scoop the yogurt mixture onto the cheesecloth in the strainer. Pull the edges together tightly to create a pouch.
  • Now, tie the cheesecloth at the top with string or a rubber band, making sure it’s well-secured.
  • Chill the labneh overnight in the refrigerator. You can leave it for up to 24 hours for a thicker consistency.
  • After the chilling time, remove the labneh from the cheesecloth. Gently transfer it to a small bowl for serving.
  • Finally, drizzle it with extra virgin olive oil and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
