Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 1/4 cups Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 cups Blueberries
  • 1/8 cup Coarse sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Line a 9 x 5 bread loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  • Mix in vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, sift together flour, salt, and baking powder.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  • Crush 1/2 cup of blueberries and fold into the batter along with the remaining blueberries.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  • Bake for about 65 to 70 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let cool in the pan for 30 minutes before removing.
