- 1 cup Canned white frosting
- 1 cup M&M'S
- 4 scoops Vanilla ice cream
- ½ to ¾ cup Milk
- ⅔ cup White cake mix
- as needed Mini cupcakes
- as needed Fun straws
Prepare your milkshake glasses first: Use a knife to edge the tops of your glasses with about 1 inch of canned white frosting. Press M&M'S into the frosting to create a trail of candies around the tops of the glasses.
Prepare the milkshakes: In a blender, place 4 extra large scoops of vanilla ice cream, ½ cup milk, ⅔ cup white cake mix, and ⅓ cup M&M'S. Blend until smooth, adding a little more milk if it’s too thick.
Fill your milkshake glasses generously. Garnish with fancy fun straws and if desired, add mini cupcakes punched through the straws. To do this, use sharp scissors to snip a hole into the bottoms of the cupcake liners.
- Tip 1: If you have any leftover milkshake, store it in an airtight container in the freezer. However, it's best enjoyed fresh!
- Tip 2: You can freeze the milkshake mixture before blending if you want a thicker shake. Just remember to let it thaw slightly before blending.
- Tip 3: These milkshakes pair wonderfully with a light snack like popcorn or pretzels for a sweet and salty experience.
- Tip 4: Experiment with different cake flavors and toppings to create your own signature milkshake.
- Tip 5: Consider using smaller glasses for events, allowing guests to sample different flavors.
