Baking Sheet
- 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats or gluten-free oats
- 1 cup chopped almonds
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/3 cup creamy almond butter
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F.
In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, chopped almonds, ground flaxseed, ground cinnamon, and sea salt. Stir until the ingredients are well mixed, ensuring each oats gets the cinnamon and salt evenly.
In another medium microwave-safe bowl, combine creamy almond butter, pure maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Microwave this mixture for about 30 seconds.
Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir the mixture until smooth and combined.
Pour this creamy mixture over the oat mixture and stir well.
Prepare a large baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or a Silpat baking mat.
Spread the granola mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the granola in the preheated oven for 24 to 30 minutes. Stir it once halfway through.
Once baked, remove the granola from the oven and let it cool completely on the baking sheet.
Once cooled, store the granola in an airtight container.
- Tip 1: This recipe makes about 4 cups of granola.
